Dr. Richard Alberta’s academic background and his professional experience of 24 years combine to provide law firms and attorneys with expert forensic psycholegal services including forensic psychological reports and expert witness testimony.
Dr. Alberta is a doctoral-level psychologist licensed by the State of Minnesota (1986) for the practice of clinical psychology. He has additional education and experience in:
- Forensic Psychology (American Academy of Forensic Psychology)
- Assessment of sexual disorders (University of Minnesota Department of Family Practice, Program in Human Sexuality Certification)
- Management-Supervision (Carlson School of Management Certification, University of MN)

Dr. Alberta is knowledgeable in the appraisal, selection, and administration of forensic test batteries that provide reliable and valid information to the finders of fact. By virtue of his forensic education, he uses and defends forensic tests that met the Frye standard and the Daubert standard.
His forensic reports serve as the instruments by which he consults with attorneys and law firms to provide them with expert evaluations of their client’s psycholegal status. His evaluations span many psycholegal areas including:
